Sponsored Walk

The school’s annual sponsored walk took place on the afternoon of Wednesday the 31^st of October through Craigengillan Estate. Despite the poor weather spirits were not dampened and all students and staff took part. Mrs Chapman and Mrs Reid supplied refreshments at the half way point. Well done to the PE department for all their hard work in organising this event.

The annual school sponsored walk will be held on Wednesday the 31st of October at 1.05pm finishing at 2.45pm. The route of the walk will be through Craigengillan and then back to the school. For every £5 that a student collects they will receive one raffle ticket. The grand prize for the student with the winning ticket will be a mountain bike. Good luck to everyone and get collecting!

Doon Academy’s annual sponsored walk was a great success. Staff and pupils walked the Craigengillan Estate to raise funds for the school and were very lucky as the weather was dry and even sunny at times! Well done to everyone who took part in the event. The pupils and staff will undertake a 5k walk leaving from the school, along Bellsbank Brae and through the Craigengillan Estate. This event will help pupils and teachers raise money for the school. Funds will go towards educational trips and outings to help broaden our pupils’ curriculum.

The students and staff undertook a 5K-walk beginning at the school, along Bellsbank Brae and through Craigengillan Estate. This event will help pupils and teachers raise money for the school. Funds will go towards educational trips and outings to help broaden our student's curriculum.

The school sponsored walk will take place on the afternoon of Thursday 17th September. The 5k route takes in the Bellsbank Brae and the Craigengillan Estate. Pupils and staff will be raising funds for the school through this healthy and enjoyable sponsored activity. All funds raised go towards educational school visits to enhance the school’s curriculum.
