USA Sunshine Hall of Fame

Congratulations to former pupil and renowned golfer Pamela Feggans who was inducted into the USA Sunshine Hall of Fame. Pamela is currently on the European Tour and we wish her well.

Ex=pupil Success

Congratulations to former pupil Kirsty Hill who has been elected as President of the Queen Margaret Union at the University of Glasgow. Kirsty will shortly complete her Psychology course at the university. Staff and pupils wish her every success in her Presidency and with her future career.

Former pupil success

Congratulations to former pupil and renowned golfer Pamela Feggans. Pamela is currently on the European Tour circuit and she tied for 30th place in the Tenerife Open. Everyone wishes Pamela continued success in her golfing championships.

Pamela Feggans success

Congratulations to former pupil Pamela Feggans who gained tied 5th place, 2 shots off the winner, at the Portugal Ladies Open Golf Championship. Pamela recently visited the school and was interviewed by the BBC news reporters. She also opened an achievement display board dedicated to her success. We wish Pamela the best of luck in future tour events.

Cricket News

Former pupil William Rowan is being shipped off to Australia again: this time to the Cricket Academy of Sydney. He will be sponsored by Telford College, where he is studying sports sciences, and by Cricket Scotland. Willie will be leaving on the 2nd of January next year and will be back after 3 months. Everyone at Doon Academy wishes him great success.

Cricket training has recommenced on Monday evenings in the games hall at Doon Academy from 6.30pm till 8.30pm.

William Rowan

Former pupil William Rowan is being shipped off to Australia. He will be heading to the cricket academy in Sydney for three months as part of his first year of his scholarship at Edinburgh’s Telford College. We wish him well in his cricketing career.
