Doon Academy’s team of Heather Dunn, Alastair Paton, Fiona Kennedy and Mark McLean put in a great performance at the East Ayrshire Schools Readers' Cup Quiz. In a very close contest they were up with the leaders from the start and, despite struggling with the sequels round, they finished in a very creditable 3rd place. Each team member won a goodie bag, and each school library was presented with some books donated by helpful publishers. Auchinleck Academy was the eventual winner. All the participants and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the quiz.
